After-School Club |
| Dear Parents and Guardians,
|
| We would like to remind parents that the new
KS3 After-School Club has now started. Initially it is
running on Mondays and Thursdays in the Youth Centre from 4.00
- 5.30pm. |
| All children in KS3 (Years 7 to 9) are welcome
to attend at a cost of £1.50 per session. Pupils can stay
for part or all of any session and must sign in and out. The
activities on offer include table football, table tennis, board
games, homework support and outdoor recreation. |
| There is the opportunity for pupils to purchase
snacks and drinks (cash only, sorry no cashless catering cards).
The club will be fully supervised by qualified staff at all
times. |
| The club is primarily intended to provide a
safe place for children who are unable to get home after participating
in a school activity or using the library or whose parents may
not be at home until early evening. However, any child who would
like to attend is welcome regardless of whether there is a parent
at home. All pupils attending the after-school club must stay
on the school site between 2.50 and the club opening. |
| It is not necessary to book in advance; pupils
can just turn up at 4.00 after finishing their extra-curricular
activity or library study. |
| We welcome your support for this new initiative
in order that we will be able to continue to run it next term.

| Thank you for your interest. |
